Masthead Layout

For the masthead, I decided to try using different fonts from the one I originally sketched out and researched, so can see how they would look and what type of ambiance they would give to an audience. I already decided on a navy blue background for the front cover, therefore the font color must be white or at least a lighter color than navy blue.

This font is called Sifonn Outline. Since the background color is already chosen, the white font color stands out. Since its an outline, the letters are easily legible. However, the font does not give a youthful aura. It's too plain.

This font is called Abys. The font is more artistic and more youthful. It is also legible and has an exciting factor along with it. It can attract attention from potential consumers as well.

This particular font is named Playlist Script. Unlike the other two, its in cursive. Cursive is usually hard to read, yet this font isn't. It has the youthful and creative aura, in addition, it flows with the exclamation point in the end. Looking at the font brings me excitement and pleasant feeling,

Between these samples, I like all of them. They are all legible and they do not blend into the background. All of them stand out but they also have flaws. Out of the three I like the Playlist Script font the most. I feel as though it is different from the usual font which is typically not in cursive. The font also makes more cheerful.
