Front cover layouts on beauty magazines different depending on what type of audience they want to attract. For my magazine, I would like it to be simple but also a bit fun in order to attract teens of all kind.
To start of, beauty magazines usually have the name of the magazine brand on the top, also known as the masthead.

This is the font and color I chose for the masthead. It stands out from the background color and gives a sophisticated yet fun aesthetic.

This is bubble contains the name of the person for the feature story and has a tagline of what main theme of the feature story will be. I made sure to keep withing the scheme color to show consistency..

The title is legible and the consistent color scheme makes it look organized. The fonts of the feature story title and the masthead are not the same, yet, the difference in them gives a small bit of variety.

As an addition to the magazine, I ensured to put an issue number as well as the month and year of the magazine. 

The next part is adding taglines on the sides of the magazine, which would be advertising the contents within the magazine. The taglines would include different topics that can be inclusive with all genders could be potential audience. These taglines however may be deemed as feminine, however, that is not the case.
